Approved Measuring Devices

Below are examples of devices that may be used:

NOTE: If the fish you catch is bigger than your measuring device, you will need to use an contractor grade self-retracting tape measure (or a big ruler).

Examples of standard hard board measuring devices:

There are many types of hard board devices, and we are open to many different types.  If you have a hard board measuring device that you wish to use, email of photo of it to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

This is your standard contractor grade tape measure.  If asked, you must submit photo of the tape measure for verification.

If you wish to use a measuring device that is not seen here, JustFishTournaments.com staff may ask to see a photo of your measuring device next to your car keys.  You must provide this if asked or you will be disqualified from the tournament, and the winner goes to the next largest fish submitted with an approved measuring device.  

If you do not see your measuring device on the list above, you may email a photo of your device with the tape outstretched next to your car keys to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it before the start of the tournament.  JustFishTournaments.com will respond within 24 hours to give you final approval of your device.   

NOTE: For multi-fish tournaments, JustFishTournaments.com requires the same measuring device to be used throughout the tournament. See Rules
